Life in the Rainforest

I've been here for nearly 4 days and it almost feels like I never even left. So easily have I fallen back into my old routines. In the mornings I like to wake up to the sound of float planes and the light peeking out behind the mountains, if the clouds are willing. The rain has now subsided and the sun is out, but rain is such an essential part of daily life here in the Alaskan rainforests, that I thought I'd explain with fotos.

Dogs usually don't seem mind the rain. Better get used to it in Alaska.
